Shanghai Florentia Village Third Phase Construction Held Opening Ceremony

(Shanghai, January 23) Shanghai Florentia Village luxury designer outlets hosted a ceremony for the beginning of its third phase construction on January 23, signaling this much-adored outlet entered a brand new stage in its development.

The third phase construction project, a space of 59,000 square meters, is expected to begin operation in the first half of 2026. The design is in line with the Italian classic architectural aesthetic adapted by the first two phases while incorporating a brand new design concept, duplex stores, to create more flexible display space for high-end brands. After the second phase of expansion in 2021, Shanghai Florentia Village saw a more diverse brand portfolio, and climbing sales and footfall, with the footfall reaching 5.1 million in 2024. Simultaneously, daily vehicle traffic during weekends and holidays kept seeing new records made, thus placing incredible demands on parking spaces. As a response, the third phase construction is going to build a modern parking facility with one underground floor and two overground levels, adding nearly 1,800 parking slots to Shanghai Florentia Village. Taking the total parking number to 3,400 for enhanced convenience for customers. After the project's completion, Shanghai Florentia Village will boast a combined size of 100,000 square meters and a more diverse brand portfolio.
