Florentia Village Demonstrates Strong Growth

Across All 7 Cities in the First Three Quarters of 2023

Nov.29, 2023, China — The leading international luxury designer destination Florentia Village has recorded exceptional growth in China this year, with the first three quarters of 2023 seeing a year-on-year increase over 50% in both sales and footfall. Founded by Italian real estate development group RDM in 2011, the luxury Village attracts more than 20 million visitors annually with its carefully curated selection of over 300 designer brands and 1,300 stores across seven cities.

Innovative pop-ups, cross-brand collaborations and creative campaigns played a key role in driving growth. “Our teams worked hard to enhance our programming this year,” says Mr. Maurizio Lupi, CEO of Florentia Village and RDM Asia. “Our efforts had remarkable returns – Florentia Villages in every city were buzzing with activities and customer engagement skyrocketed. Our performance in the first half of the year was particularly noteworthy as sales and footfall surged by over 60% increase.”

The Villages’ culture of hospitality and its guests-first mentality also have had great impact. “Our membership base has flourished, currently standing at an impressive 4.5 million with a 30% annual growth rate,” says Mr. Jacopo De Vena, Managing Director of Florentia Village and RDM Asia. “Florentia Village will continue bringing an extraordinary, Italian-inspired luxury shopping experience to more Chinese consumers as it becomes a weekend destination for residents in the city.”

For many, Florentia Villages appeal has evolved into much more than just a place to shop quality brands for great value. Instead, visitors come for weekend getaways, where dining and entertainment offer much sought-after leisure and relaxation in comfortable Italian surroundings. Families are well served with offerings tailored for little ones such as a jungle-themed childrens center. Enticing perks including VAT refunds, luggage storage, complimentary shuttle buses and stress-free parking provide guests with even further added convenience.

Member services are modernized through Florentia Village’s mini program Florentia Village Outlet GO. Developed exclusively for members, it ensures high-level service across all online and offline touchpoints, with a generous loyalty program featuring exclusive VIP lounge access, birthday privileges, private sales and more.
