with Record Breaking Sales Following Re-openings


20th May 2020, Shanghai, China - During Labor Day holiday, Florentia Village achieved strong sales performance across their five mainland China locations surpassing last year's holiday results, with Shanghai and Chengdu breaking record sales. Weekend traffic saw positive growth across all centers, signaling consumer confidence. At the same time, Florentia Village loyal card member base gained over 40% growth in spending and is expected to exceed 2 million card members within this year.

Florentia Village Strong Performance during Labor Day in Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou - Foshan
The main locations of Florentia Village showed signs of strong recovery with sales and traffic increasing week after week, with the sales increase of 127% at Tianjin and Shanghai locations during holiday week, compared to a normal week.  At the same time, Florentia Village Shanghai and Guangzhou – Foshan saw the highest traffic surge over holiday weekend, with single day traffic exceeding 35,000 visitors in a location. Furthermore, Florentia Village Shanghai breaks new sales record, with numerous stores placing No.1 in outlet sales across China during Labor Day holiday.

Florentia Village Chengdu Breaks Sales Record and Florentia Village Wuhan Shows Significant Growth Potential 
Florentia Village Chengdu has reached a record high in both sales and numbers of guest visiting after re-opening. During Labor Day holiday, Florentia Village Chengdu saw over 80% growth in sales and more than 23% growth in visitors compared to last year. 

Meanwhile, since re-opening second week of April, Florentia Village Wuhan saw surge of shoppers from surrounding cities as well as from our loyal customer base, opting for Florentia Village outdoor space and various brand offers. Florentia Village Wuhan is expecting significant growth potential in the near future, with the completion of the metro lines and the development of nearby commercial and residential communities. 

Florentia Village launches "Virtual Shopping" to connect with Chinese customers 
To better connect with customers and support business partners, Florentia Village worked with brand partners and fashion industry leaders to launch live stream shopping events at five Florentia Village outlet locations, allowing customers to participate in "virtual shopping" where they can experience the outlet environment and purchase directly from the stores without having to step outside their homes. The series of live stream events and digital channel promotions are numerous ways Florentia Village continues to evolve to better serve its customers and partners.
