(Chengdu, September 27, 2025)—On September 27, Chengdu Florentia Village Luxury Designer Outlet proudly launches the “Taste of Italy”, bringing together authentic Italian flavors and Sichuan culinary traditions in a grand cultural celebration. Marking the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Italy, the event is guided by the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Expositions, and the People’s Government of Pidu District, with strong support from the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing China and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce. The “Taste of Italy” offers consumers in Chengdu and Southwest China an immersive feast of Italian cuisine infused with Sichuan flavor, innovatively showcasing the beauty of Italian lifestyle.

 

 

The “Taste of Italy” gathers Italian brands jointly invited by Florentia Village and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce including iconic gastronomic names such as Venchi, FABBRI, Aperol Spritz and BUONISSIMO, as well as Italian lifestyle and fashion labels such as De'Longhi, Smeg and Bialetti. In addition, two Italian wine merchants, Memory of Sicily and YiShe, in collaboration with the world-renowned wine and spirits fair Vinitaly, make their appearance on the event. Together they create a new retail scene that blends culinary, style, and cultural experiences in one destination. Through this event, Chengdu Florentia Village aims to expand the reach and forms of Sino-Italian exchange, presenting Italy’s rich food culture while extending into lifestyle and heritage dimensions.  The “Taste of Italy” will run through October 8, concluding on the final day of the National Day holiday. Italian craftsmanship will also be spotlighted through hands-on creative workshops, such as toast-painting, jewelry DIY, and plaster crafting DIY, allowing consumers to experience the artistry of everyday living.
